I obtained my doctoral degree in 1999 from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology. My internship and two year residency were completed at Tampa Bay Florida VA medical centers. I then worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine at the University of South Florida and Associate Director of the Roskamp Institute Memory Clinic in Tampa, Florida. Since 2006 I have been living and working in the Vancouver, BC area. I am currently responsible for neuropsychology services at two local hospitals. I am a Clinical Associate Professor at Simon Fraser University and a Clinical Instructor in the University of British Columbia Department of Psychiatry. I also have a private practice where I conduct independent medical evaluations for insurance companies, lawyers, and workplace compensation. Although not as actively as in the past, I also spend some of my time on clinical research projects, presentations and publications.
I have been board certified with ABN since 2008. Although I have not served on the ABN Board of Directors in the past, I am keen to do so. I am committed to the success of ABN and interested in helping to promote ABN and to build its membership. As one of the four Members-at Large, I will look forward to helping with the ABN committees, marketing, and other projects.
